We are currently seeking our next Legal & Compliance Officer! This role will be part of the Global Legal & Compliance Office and will have responsibility for a wide range of compliance-related matters, mainly in the Finnish market. Furthermore, the role will collaborate closely with our Head of Compliance & Legal to establish and develop the framework for our compliance processes in Finland.

Amongst other things, the role will be responsible for: 

• Monitoring of regulatory changes and market practices

• Implementing new working methods or processes in the global and/or the Finnish organization

• Development of our internal regulations and policies

• Produce training materials and train the employees

• Follow up that both internal and external rules are followed within the business

• Produce reports to authorities, CEO and the board of directors

• Support the business in various projects and matters

Must have: 

• Master of Law Degree or equivalent work experience

• At least 3 years of experience within the Compliance field, preferably at a company within the financial sector or other relevant sector

• Good knowledge in financial regulation, more specifically Consumer Credit Law

• Fluent in Finnish and English

A bit of extra credit if you also have:

• Knowledge in GDPR and related EU directives

• Knowledge in AML practices

• Experience in setting up compliance processes and routines
