Sambla Group is currently seeking a Head of Corporate Communications! In this role, you'll have ownership of the development and implementation of communication and PR strategies for Sambla Group, aimed at fostering a positive corporate brand. You'll also serve as the company’s spokesperson to the media and manage media relationships. Additionally, you will also be responsible for leading the company’s public affairs agenda.
Further on, this role will include but not be limited to:
Set overall communication framework for Sambla Group, influencing communication on brand level but does not work directly with campaigns, branding etc. for the group’s consumer brands.
Ensure preparedness for crises through setting policies, defining ownership and responsibilities for crisis mode.
Develop and execute executive visibility programs that incorporate speaking engagements, paid and owned media engagements, as well as visibility in digital channels.
Support and work together with executive leadership in developing important corporate messages.
Lead internal communication programs to employees on important corporate developments.
Lead the public affairs agenda, fostering relationships with regulators and industry organisations to inform responsible regulation of the company’s relevant markets
Build and develop a leading Corporate Communications and PR function in line with highest industry standards.
The position will not hold formal people responsibility nor be part of the executive management team. However, this may be amended over time driven by the needs of the business.
In order to succeed in the position, we believe that you have:
At least five years of experience within corporate communications, including internal and external communication.
A proven track record of planning, implementing and executing a corporate communications strategy.
Experience in Public and Media affairs, including crisis communication.
Experience in working closely with executive leaders as an “inhouse consultant” to provide guidance on communications matters.
Strong communications skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbal.
Good understanding of how to use data and research to drive efforts, make data-based decisions.
A bit of extra credit if you also have:
Experience from financial services companies including Fintech.
Experience from a past-paced global and/or nordic environment.
Language proficiency in a nordic language other than Swedish.
