We are looking for a talented Data modeler to join our Data Architecture and Reporting team. As a Data modeler, you will play a pivotal role in designing and creating data models that define the structure, organization, and relationships within a database; additionally the role entails developing and maintaining complex data models for business data analysis and reporting purposes, as well as collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure effective data storage and utilization, analyzing and interpreting business data.
Amongst other things, you will work with:

Stakeholder Engagement:
Work with business and data solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual and logical data models. Gathering requirements with business users and implement the business rules on our data stack -
Data Translation and Communication:
Be part of the implementation of DBMS, data marts, data vaults and data lakes. -
Data Modeling:
Support the development of different data models.
Updating and optimizing local and metadata models. Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems. Fine tuning performance on the data bases -
Data Transformation:
Utilize your advanced SQL skills to transform raw data into a structured format that serves as a foundation for meaningful analysis. Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system. Maintain data quality and governance procedures -
Continuous Improvement:
Actively seek feedback from stakeholders to refine and optimize Data models and processes.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Modeler or equivalent position.
- Relevant education, preferably computer science.
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong communication skills in English, both in written and verbal.
A bit of extra credit if you also have:
- Experience in marketing analytics, for instance in campaign follow up, econometric modeling, customer segmentation and attribution modeling.
- Possess some experience in software development and be familiar with technologies such as dbt, python or any data warehousing tools.
