Accounts Payable & Receivable Controller
Join Sambla Group as an AP & AR Controller! Own key finance processes, improve smarter ways of working and grow your career in a fast-moving fintech team.
Sambla Group is a fintech company with a clear goal – to be your trusted financial partner. We’ve grown into one of the fastest-growing fintech companies, bridging the gap between borrowers and lenders, thanks to the 500+ amazing people who work here. In the summer of 2026, we were granted authorisation as a credit market company, marking an important milestone in our continued journey to expand into own lending and opening an exciting new chapter for Sambla Group.
We are now looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Controller to join our Finance team at our headquarters in central Stockholm. In this role, you will get the opportunity to grow your finance career in a fast-moving fintech environment, take ownership from day one and contribute to smarter ways of working. If you enjoy structure, details and collaboration, and want to be part of a company where ideas are welcomed and things move quickly, we think you will feel right at home.
What you will do
As our AP/AR Controller, you will play an important role in our day-to-day finance operations. You will work closely with the Finance team and support both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes across the group.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling supplier and customer invoices
Managing expense claims and reimbursements
Working with payments, reconciliations and ongoing bookkeeping
Supporting month-end related tasks within AP and AR
Keeping our finance processes structured, accurate and efficient
Collaborating with colleagues across Finance and the wider organization
Identifying smarter ways of working and contributing to process improvements
This is a broad role where you will get close to the business, learn from experienced colleagues and build a strong foundation within finance.
Who we are looking for
We believe you are a curious and driven person who enjoys working with numbers, systems and people. You like getting things right, but you are also comfortable asking questions, taking initiative and finding ways to improve how things are done. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Around 1-3 years of experience from similar finance tasks
A relevant academic degree, or equivalent experience
A good understanding of financial processes
An interest in systems, structure and process improvements
Strong Excel skills
Great communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
It is a plus if you have experience from NetSuite and/or Skovik.
As a person, you are communicative, humble and hands-on. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift, and where collaboration is key. You take ownership, stay curious and like exploring smarter ways of working, including how AI can support more efficient solutions. You want to keep learning and contribute with positive energy to the team around you.
What we offer
We might be a little different from most companies. Instead of defining personal values, we’ve built a shared way of working - a rhythm that guides how we collaborate, support our customers, and move forward together. We call it Drive & Jive - a shared rhythm that creates momentum through direction, collaboration, and human connection.
As part of our recruitment process, we always carry out a background check before extending a job offer.
