Are you our new Strategic Communication Manager?
Do you have a passion for strategic communications and a proven ability to manage high-stakes situations? We are seeking a skilled Strategic Communication Manager to lead our public relations efforts and shape how we work with press relationships. In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact by developing and executing PR strategies, fostering media relationships, and ensuring our corporate narrative aligns with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the organization’s public relations (PR) activities
Managing the PR plan, including budgets, timelines, etc.
Analyzing all media coverage of the organization and drafting appropriate responses
Ensure preparedness for crises and take ownership in crisis mode.
Organizing promotional events
Assist in preparing relevant stakeholders for press conferences, interviews, etc.
Responsible for defining and carrying out media training for relevant stakeholders
Compose and distribute press releases for the organisation
Support and work together with executive leadership in developing important corporate messages
Support internal communication programs to employees on important corporate developments
Support PR campaigns that elevate the organization's profile and strengthen its brand.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 5 years in PR, with a strong track record of managing media relations and crisis communications.
Skilled in developing corporate communication plans that align with business priorities.
Established network with the Swedish press, with a history of engaging with reporters regularly.
Experience in navigating regulatory frameworks and their implications on communication strategies.
Strong verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English.
Proficient in social media management and digital content creation to amplify corporate messaging.
Hands-on experience organizing impactful events.
Nice to Have:
Experience and networks in other Nordic markets, particularly Finland.
Background in regulatory or public affairs and experience interacting with authorities.
